Roy? NO!!!!
More screentime for Roy? YES!!!
Gary causes trouble in a attempt to rob Roy but Roy is the one who's arrested while Gary gets away with it?!Something is very wrong here!As for David,if Kylie is that stupid to go back with drug dealer Callum,he and the children are better off without her.
On what planet do two people enter into a business partnership and NOT safeguard the business by requiring two signatures to withdraw money? It is a common expected business practice. These writers are creating ridiculous circumstances just to make a story line.
And the Gary/Roy story? Seriously? Why has Gary not been charged with B&E? Are we in some kind of alternate universe here? Gary is the bad guy, the perpetrator, NOT Roy. And now Alya and Gary are back together? What the hell?
Gary needs to go. Once again he is front and center in another horrible plot. Either get back with Izzy and take care of your freakin child...remember him??? Or leave the street. They are trying to make him out as the oh so desirable street Casanova or something. He is the street loser. This whole story is so absurd, I find it insulting as a viewer.
I used to think Alya was the most promising Nazir but she has turned out be such a drip. I don't see any inner turmoil on her face just a permanent half smile. In fact, the best one of the lot is Sharif who could have been brilliant as a businessman dealing with Dev and, maybe, Carla. We're missing the likes of Mike, Fred, Alf and Danny. Sharif. Writers, call it a day and get rid of the whole lot.
You're right that Alya doesn't seem to have much passion. Zeedan is just a one-note sulky kid at the moment but perhaps he could have potential. I do like Sharif and Yasmeen and their dynamic together. He seems so henpecked most of the time and then can turn around and give her a look or say something when she starts going too far and she backs down.
Where did Owen get the nerve to blame losing the house on Gary? Wasn't he the one who, in the first place, entered into a contract with what's-his-name, knowing full well what a devious and underhanded character he was...they all had collective brain drain when that collaboration started. Call in the medics... poor little Jake had a band-aid on his arm and Izzy goes ballistic as if it had been amputated! Izzy and her wheelchair rolling in front of a bus wouldn't go amiss. I may be in the minority, but they are all ganging up on Gary and I don't think he deserves that.
Frosty has always like Sharif as the best out of a bad bunch.
Why does poor Roy have to spend his first Christmas without Hailey - remember the scene last year when they decorated the flat for the last time? Bloody Gary Windass needs to go, be sent down or sectioned or something and take his annoying sing song voiced lank hair hanging down in a cafe with him - DAAAH-LIN.
Frosty forgot to put the first Christmas without Hailey IN PRISON?????
Chia Gwen,I think the reason Owen blames Gary is that Gary went into a rage and assaulted Phelan who taunted him about his mother.Granted Phelan was a slimeball and everyone's attitude towards Gary was over the top but what always bothered me was Gary's lack of concern over his family's current situation.Anna slept with Phelan so he wouldn't press assault charges against Gary and Owen is forced to file bankruptcy because he lost his investment because of Gary and yet dumb Gary has never shown any remorse only nterest in Alya and acting like he doesn't have a care in the world. No wonder Owen is angry at him!
