Preview of tonight's Coronation Street - Weds 17 Dec

Wednesday 17th December
THERE’S NEEDLE BETWEEN DAVID AND TYRONE. David’s suspicious as to where Kylie got to when she slipped out last night. Kylie tries to talk her way out of trouble but when David admits he’s struggling to trust her, Kylie feels terrible for putting a strain on their marriage. Meanwhile David’s furious when Tyrone buys the corner shop’s best Christmas tree from under his nose. He demands Tyrone relinquish it but he refuses and they tussle in the street. Who will be victorious?
WILL ALYA STAND BY HER MAN? Alya watches as Owen and Katy lay into Gary in the street, troubled by the rift she’s caused. As the Nazirs move into No.6. Alya tearfully tells them she’s going to finish with Gary as they’re causing too much heartache. Hiding their relief, Kal and Yasmeen assure her she’s made the right decision. But when Alya breaks the news to Gary he begs her to reconsider. Will Alya have a change of heart?
TRACY’S TAKING CONTROL AND SHE MEANS BUSINESS. Tony’s ears prick up as Leanne gives Tracy a message from Peter – cough up the rent or the shop’s going up for sale at the end of the week. When Tony then offers to supply her with his latest consignment of dodgy goods, Tracy agrees. But how will she respond to his offer to clear her rent arrears in exchange for 50% of her business?
ELSEWHERE When Erica flirts with Nick in the Bistro he readily accepts her invitation to join her at the Rovers later. As they cosy up in the back room it takes no time at all until they’re kissing passionately.Gavin tells Michael he’s not been to see a doctor yet. Urging him to go soon, Michael invites Gavin to spend Christmas with them. Knowing his luck is running out, Gavin makes another urgent phone call.

You took the words right out of my mouth Frosty! Gary/Alya...ugh....please make it stop.
Is anybody buying this supposed relationship? What's next, Alya goes after David Platt when Kylie leaves? How about Craig? Maybe he's next.
I don't even think the actors are buying this. Zero chemistry. It's painful to watch.

Zagg,I'm not buying Gary and Ayla who'll probably make her move on Tyrone who seems to be spending Christmas without Fizz.
Another tedious storyline is David and Tyrone fighting over a Christmas tree?Really?

There ought to be an interactive button to press at the end of each episode - Did you enjoy this episode & has it inspired you to watch again? The answer for last night being a distinct NO!
Not liking Erica at all & Nick must be desperate ! I take it the same plot must be happening in E**te***rs hence our need to suffer it here.

Erica struck me as a younger version of Gloria. I get the feeling that tptb are treading water until the minibus crash when there might a character cull. I definitely don't want to see any more new characters until the cast has been drastically trimmed.

We are a week behind in Canada, and I couldn't agree more --- ZERO chemistry between Gary and Alya.
However, for me, nothing can ever be as bad as Tina and Peter.
Looking forward to this new lady friend of Nicks. Even though we are years behind in the 'other English soap' - I stopped watching it when a slimy man started an affair with his sons wife. So, this new lady is completely new to me. * she can't be any worse than the American Diane!
