Welcome to day number 23 of the Coronation Street Bog advent calendar. We open the door today on one of the most romantic scenes seen on the cobbles, which always brings a lump to my throat. Here's the moment when Curly points out to his new fiance, the star that will be forever known as Mrs Raquel Watts.

Often, it's only when actors have left Corrie and gone on to other things that we realise just how excellent they are: Sarah Lancashire, Bradley Walsh, Ann Reid, Amelia Bullmore, Shelley Lindsay to name but few. I'm waiting for Chris Gascoyne to be absolutely extraordinary in a new venture.
This is absolutely one of the best Corrie moments ever!
