KYLIE’S OUT IN THE COLD.Eva beseeches Kylie to tell David the full extent of her past drug addiction so he can help her, threatening that if Kylie doesn’t come clean to David she’ll tell him all. At breaking point, Kylie admits to David she tried all sorts of drugs before she met him but now she’s turned her life around and hates herself for what she’s done. Horrified how will David react to her confession?
KAL’S DETERMINED TO BUILD BRIDGES WITH ZEEDAN. Zeedan berates Kal for threatening Tony, pointing out he could have lost him his job. Kal assures Zeedan he was only looking out for him. Reminding Zeedan that he hasn’t forgot his mum, and will always love Jamila, can father and son reach a truce? Meanwhile when Alya confides in Leanne that Katy reckons Gary and Izzy are getting back together, Leanne suggests it’s just wishful thinking from Katy and it’s time Alya and Gary came clean about their relationship. Gary assures Alya he has no intention of getting back with Izzy but how will he react when Alya says she’s decided to tell Kal about them?
MARIA FINALLY ASKS LUKE OUT. Maria feels guilty realising Luke missed out on the flat he was after as he had to take her to A&E. When Audrey advises Maria not to let Luke slip through her fingers as he’s a lovely boy, Maria apologises to Luke and suggests they go on a date.
ELSEWHERE As Sally surveys the deck chairs that are now in place of her sofa she blames Tim for the fact she’s not only lost her lovely sofa but her new friend Diane too. Sean’s nervous as he and Billy have their first date at the bistro, will they be making plans for another date by the end of the night?

So far the Vicar looks like he could be a good character, well acted and a decent type. Shame they are going to spoil him putting him with the ghastly Sean with his OTT traumas and constant head tossing/
Anyone else who couldn't care less whether Kal builds bridges with Zeedan? Join the queue.
Seems the actor who plays Zeedan is only capable of sullen, moody characters - he was much the same in Shameless.
If you google "images of qasim akhtar" (the actor who plays zeedan), there are none showing him smiling (the nearest to a smile can only be called a sneer).
Kal and his family have not fit at all well into the street. The mum is too shouty and Kal trying to meddle in every aspect of his grown children's lives is tiring and irritating.
All that rubbish with Father Christmas showed the whole family up as the bad actors they all are.
Ugh....here we go with a story line showcasing the worst family to hit the Street. The Nazirs need to go. They are sooooooo boring. Who gives a furry rat's behind if Kal the Snarky Mean Face boy make up? And Alya and Gary? Really? Is anybody buying that?
Can't they see that they are not a good fit? Are there really people out there enjoying them? I can't imagine, I really can't.
I was really looking forward to Jimi Mistry joining Corrie. And then all the baggage came with him. I think people need to start a Get Rid Of The Nazirs petition.
I genuinely don't understand why all this time and effort is being put into the Nazirs, rather than finding something meaningful to do with longer-term residents; goodness knows the cast is large enough!
It's like the screen-hog writing for the Windarms is being transferred to the Nazirs through their connections to them. Unfortunately, they are not amusing, nor are they infuriating; they are offering very little to stimulate any interest or investment in them.
I have high hopes for the Vicar, let's hope he brings out the best (and some evolution) in Sean!
Lol, I took the google image challenge. Found a few sneers and only 1 photo of him smiling.
Add my name to that petition please. I don't buy the Gary and Alya storyline one bit. There is no chemistry between these two characters much like the lack of between Kal and Leanne as well as Maria and Luke. Boring, boring and may I say it again boring. Yasmeen is annoying, end of. And why would she speak to Sean?? Did I miss an episode? When did they ever interact before that she felt she could comment on his shirt? The only scenes I enjoyed in this episode were with Sally, Tim and Kevin. "Read my lips, I will not be listening to the Queen's speech in deck chairs!" Classic Sally! Loved it! Oh and the Kylie drama, couldn't TPTB just send all the Platts to visit Becky instead of this ridiculous storyline? Is the actress not returning after her maternity leave? Is that why they are wrecking yet another marriage? And why was Gavin working at the bistro? Didn't he quit when Michael had his fainting spell?
