Coronation Street beat rival soap Emmerdale in a netball match this weekend. The game was to raise funds for the ITV charity Text Santa which supports a number of charities such as Age UK and Barnardo's.
On the netball team from Corrie were Katy Cavanagh (Julie Carp), Samia Ghadie (Maria Connor), Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster), Jane Danson (Leanne Tilsley), Katie McGlynn (Sinead Tinker), Krissi Bohn (Jenna Kamara) and Alison King (Carla Connor).
The soap stars teamed up with players from their local Netball Superleague team - Manchester Thunder and Yorkshire Jets - along with members of their respective production crew.
Corrie's Alison King - who plays Carla Connor on the cobbles - was one of her team's star players, scoring plenty of goals.
The teams were cheered on by a sell-out crowd of 2,000 at the Thunderdome at Wright Robinson Sports College in Gorton.
There are loads of pictures and videos from the game at the Manchester Evening News website.

Well done to both teams for raising so much money for text Santa and congrats to team Corrie!! They were brilliant.
They went into the lead straight away but Emmerdale were catching them up so at one point the crowd were chanting "Do it for Hayley" and they started playing better.
