Giving you an insider’s view of Coronation Street, Corrie expert Mark Llewllin is leading a full day Coronation Street locations tour on Friday 27th July.
I can't recommend this tour enough. I've been on it and I know the tour guide - and if you haven't been on one of Mark's Corrie tours yet, then it really is a day not to be missed. Treat yourself, it's well worth it, you'll have a fantastic day.
Learn about Corrie creator Tony Warren, how the show made it on air, the inside stories and secrets. and visit many of the locations of iconic scenes out and about around Greater Manchester. See the spot where Richard Hillman tried to kill the Platts, find out where all the Weatherfield weddings take place, see where the new Corrie studios are being built, see where John Stape plunged from the hospital roof – and much more in this fun day out.
Since 1999 it’s no longer possible to visit the Coronation Street Set-but this is the next best thing!
Tour guide Mark Llewellin is fabulous! He's an experienced guide and lecturer on Coronation Street. Since 1999 he has regularly guided groups of Corrie fans around the North West both for Granada TV itself and various international travel agents. He is a regular visitor to the studios, knows most of the cast and is a contributor to the official Corrie archives. He has appeared on TV in Canada, Britain and Ireland talking about the show and contributes articles to various magazines and blogs on the subject. Mark has full public liability insurance. During the day he will share lots of insider gossip, explain how the show is made and also share some of Manchester’s history too.
Includes coach travel - morning and afternoon tea at Daisy Nook Garden Centre; services of a guide.
Date: Friday 27th July. Cost: £19.50 per person. Departs 9.00am; home by approx 5.30pm. Full details here.

I am a Corrie fan and have been to Blackpool, Windermere, Speedwell and London which have all been used for filming the odd Corrie ep over the years, Speedwell once in 1965 but Blackpool many times. I feel gald to have visited real places seen in the hit soap.
I can highly second this tour. I've been on it too and it was a top day!
I am from Canada and going to be in England starting September 25 for a week. Any chance there is going to be a tour that week we can catch?
