Judging by the comments left on recent blog posts, it seems I'm not the only Coronation Street fan who's enjoying newcomer Beth and her ever-silent, ever-eating son Craig. Beth's attepted seduction of Steve had me in stitches, as did Craig sitting in the back of the cab office, snaffling the biscuits
Well done to actrors Lisa George and Colson Smith, who play Beth and Craig. This fan hopes there's many more scenes with them both in. and I did wonder if we'd ever see Craig's dad turn up on Corrie one day too...
Do we know if they've been given a surname yet? It's always a good sign that characters are staying, when they get a surname!

I think their surname's Tinker!
Yes it is, it's Tinker, thanks CSC! Just checked the credits on tonight's episode.
Beth and son are a brilliant addition to the show - would love scenes with Craig and Kirk - somehow I think they would be hilarious.
Yes i love them! they are soo bloody funny! - hahah Deary and Craig and the pottery hahah! i was laughing! so much!! well done Corrie!!
I think these two are great additions and it was quite touching to hear Craig speak and interact with Dreary about his love of pottery. They are a breath of fresh air after the Tracy/Steve borefest and tiresome is he still a cad slippery Lewis Long Nose.
Love them too! Craig and his staring is hilarious! Ah, but he has hidden depths with his pottery talents. Beth has fitted in brilliantly. Loved the line about the putty!
