Bill Tarmey leaves Coronation Street later this year in his role as Jack Duckworth. And Bill's memoirs will be released in a book called Being Jack—My Life on the Street and Other Adventures.It'll be published in hardback in October by Simon & Schuster.

It will be 'must read'. Bill Tarmey is one of the truly great Corrie characters. Terrific actor....and by the way a pretty good singer as well. He brought lots of humour and also pathos to the show, and he will be sorely missed. What a talented man.
