Please gawd, make it stop. I've taken to hiding behind a cushion with my fingers in my ears every time the two of them are on screen. It's embarassing, it's awful, it's bang out of character for Kevin Webster and I hate it. A lot.
So there's my tuppence-worth but what do you think?

I hate it and I bet at least one of the actors feels as uncomfortable as the viewing public.
Hopefully someone will see this is not a good storyline 'upstairs' or maybe someone like Aunty Pam will box their ears in and make them stop. I'm sure she is the only one that will make Molly see sense.
One word for this "ug". I just want to slap the pair of them.
It is an awful storyline! It just seems like it has came out of nowhere, it happened so quick and it just seems forced. Some affair storylines may appeal because we 'love to hate' them or the characters may genuinely work well, but 'Molvin' does not fit into these categories at all! It is out of character for Kevin, but extremely OOC for Molly. Remember when she got paranoid that Tyrone was seeing Minnie? This proved that Molly felt strongly about commitment, so I hate that Corrie have just about forgotten this.
Also, I know we get breaks from the storyline when the Websters or Dobbs go on holiday but apart from that the storyline does get a lot of screentime which makes it more unbearable :(
I totally agree with Anonymous above. Yes, there's all sorts of strange liaisons in the world of fiction, so we expect to suspend our belief somewhat. But the build-up to the affair from these two was way too quick! It seems so forced! It's more believable for the viewers if there's build-up from all sides -- more newlywed tensions from Tyrone-Molly after Uncle moves out. More marriage boredom from Kevin Sally. Then work on Molly and Kevin both 'escaping' to their running...finding each other. If the start of this stupid affair were written more believably, perhaps the viewers would have an easier time -- maybe even the actors wouldn't look so utterly clumsy in their 'cheating' scenes! This is soap TV! Who wouldn't like to watch an unlikely affair! But the writers (who know how to portray an affair) dropped the ball on this one completely from the very beginning! So kill it or just spare us anymore long, drawn out scenes ---- p-l-e-a-s-e!!!!
Everyone has already been so eloquent. It did come out of nowwhere and it isn't believeable in the least. Awful, awful, awful.
I am so pleased we all feel the same! It is a highly ill-thought out and tasteless storyline and everytime I see them together I just cringe! I also think the storyline is impairing the quality of their acting as they both look so cheesy and uncomfortable when they're on screen. I hear the affair is set to run until next year! Hopefully the writers will see sense and end this - perhaps in a Corrie christmas special or something. Here's to hoping..
I don't enjoy this ONE bit. I feel sorry for all affected parties (Sally, Tyrone), and the whole thing is just so contrived in my opinion.
Ech. When will they stop the madness?
NAY NAY NAY. And Nay again.
Hmm, I don't think we're the only ones- i've noticed a lot of facebook updates referencing the grossness of it. As everybody says- too fast, too out of character, and they don't even make a good couple. As for saying they love each other? pah.
I for one enjoy it. Just think about the reveal!!!!
It hasn't started here in Canada and I'm dreading it. Worst idea since the Jamie/Frankie Baldwin fiasco. I'm guessing it will be Kirk and Emily next.
We love it. It is well acted and a lot of fun to watch. How long can they hide this? I am really curious.
Now Kirk and Emily - that could be interesting! At least there'd be some sensationalism to it (older woman, younger man), and there was a certain amount of sensationalism to the Frankie-Jamie thing too (how incestuous), but there's absolutely nothing interesting, shocking or even mildly alluring about Molly and Kevin's affair.
There's just no good reason for it. They're just two people having an affair because their lives are so goshdarn boring otherwise.
Its a big Nay for me also.
Very pushed story, with no possible future but problems, and very many messy consequences to follow, which I won't enjoy.
I think it's disgusting. Kevin could be her father!!!
I'm with the majority. So out of character, such bilious nonsense!
It's so completely out of character for Kevin that it's unwatchable. I either watch it on Sky+ & fast forward through the Molvin bits or put it on pause and go and make a cup of tea when they come on and spoil corrie.
NO.
i dont mind it as such it jsut happened a bit too fast-id cheat on sally if i was married to her
wot a nag
I's suffer this love affair if both actors actually looked at ease acting their parts. They don't. They look uncomfortable. They look embarrassed. If the Corrie producers just added canned laughter to the love scenes it would somehow fit the script and make it more bearable to watch.
