I love the Windasses and I think this army storyline is spot on. Looking forward to it.
Yeah i am also pleased to see more from the Windasses. I particularly like Gary and Anna. I was intrigued to see how this storyline was going to play out without permanently sidelining Gary's character.
Look forward to this.
If Gary goes AWOL from the military...that will be another stint at Her Majesty's pleasure...???
Oh, Gary!
I would rather have seen Gary emerging as a hero rather than a deserter!
i agree why cant they have him as a good character for a change
he went on and on about joining the army and doing his bit then he just goes awol-you go to jail for that
Why Are You All Suggesting That Because He Has Gone AWOL he is a desterter and not a hero ? 7 why can't they have him as a good character instead of a bad one for a change ? your being so steriotypical. My boyfriend went AWOL after serving in Afghanistan. Unless You Have Been i Suggest you keep your opinions to yourself as to whether someone is "a bad person" and not a hero !
the point is you're hardly a hero if you go awol BEFORE you've been to afghan. It was great to see an army storyline in corrie albeit the timeline etc isn't realistic, only for recruit windass to go awol. bad times. shoudve made him a hero and show the british public just how fabulous the British Army is.
