At the bistro, news of Robert and Michelle's non-pregnancy has reached her sons, and Michelle has spent the night at the Rovers. The brothers Grimm are defensive of their Mother / not real mother. Surely a kana hen-do can cheer up the frosty atmosphere?
Bumping into Carla, bride to be Rana borrows the keys to Underworld ready to show Kate her custom-made wedding dress.
Meanwhile, Lolly brings over her hen-do kit in preparation for the big night. The little minx manages to rile Rana, almost immediately.
Back at the Rovers, Robert struggles to reconcile with Michelle. The future of this always maudlin couple looks ever the more fragile. Has Robert gone too far disrespecting the memory of Ruari? Carla does little to dispel Michelle's doubts about the future.
Later at the flat, Michelle tells Robert that the relationship is over. Robert's resentment gets lost in red wine whilst Ryan suggests Robert puts up a fight, but not before he listens to Morrissey.
Making her entrance at Roy's Rolls, Evelyn is quick to brag to Gail about starting work at Webster's Autos, whilst Gail struggles to grab a job at 'Trim Up North'. Can family ties help Gail too? With 'Trim Up North' looking suitably busy, Gail is left to hold the fort whilst David and Nick head off out.
Whilst Evelyn's tannoy talk annoys Kevin, Gail has unwittingly employed Nick's ex partner in crime; granny robber, Natalie.
At the Bistro, the hens are cooped up (Moira Klaxon!) with cocktails in hand, and Lolly has organised male and female strippers- she's such a minx (can you tell I'm a fan)!
As the girls unite against Lolly, is the coop about to get ruffled by the red headed fox?. Robert, meanwhile, doesn't seem too impressed on discovering that Carla may have swayed Michelle's decision.
I'll be back soon with a review of the 8.30pm episode. See you in a bit.
