Hi all! This is a fun new weekly post I’ve started where every week I’ll choose a different character that stood out the most for me. I’ve never done a weekly post before so hopefully it doesn’t crash and burn like a tram crashing into The Kabin.
This week’s Star of the Week is Sally Metcalfe. Now, our Sal isn’t having the greatest time at the moment. Duncan’s framing her for fraud and the ex-mayor is desperately trying to convince Tim that everything Duncan has said are filthy lies.
But, even though Sally is riding through a rather turbulent storm, she’s never stopped being, well, Sally. She’s hired a new hot-shot lawyer whom Sal served quails eggs and some green stuff on toast. If I had to guess any character who would serve quails eggs, it’d be Sally Metcalfe.
I’ve also loved that we’ve seen a more candid version of Sally this week. Dressing up as a clown for the fundraiser and staking out Duncan’s house in a beanie hat for disguise was the perfect way to inject some humour into this storyline.
Not many have Sal’s strength, making her a true Corrie legend.
