Coronation Street spoiler: Peter shot in gun battle
The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and there’s gun crime on the street and it’s Peter who gets shot.
It all starts when Simon returns home with Ken but Simon receives a threatening text welcoming him back. Simon returns from Tyler’s court case with a referral order but remains fearful of giving evidence against Tyler. Then, two masked teens grab Simon in the street and force him into a waiting car. Seeing what’s happening Kate grabs Simon, dragging him to safety. Peter vows to protect his son but fails to spot a car approaching and a gun pointing at Simon through its open window!
Tyler fires his gun, hitting Peter square in the chest. As Tyler’s car speeds off, Carla screams. Simon tells Leanne that Tyler’s won and he won’t testify in court. Seeing her son’s terror, Leanne barges into Underworld and has a go at Carla for putting Simon at risk. As Carla worries about Peter, Michelle accuses her of still having feelings for him, will Carla finally admit she’s right?

Oh please enough!!! I'm so sick of this Merry go round between Carla/Peter/Leanne and soon to be Nick. This is seriously tiring....
Also, we have another hospital scene to look forward to. Yippee!
I completely agree. I feel like I'm stuck in traffic watching Corrie lately. Stories creeping along going nowhere fast. Tedious.
I suspect this will turn out to be an airgun or pellet gun, rather than bullets - frightening, but not deadly
I was really hoping it would be Simon that was shot, and fatally.
