Coronation Street on Midnight Mastermind, BBC Radio 2
When an email comes in from the BBC asking if I'd like to be on radio talking about Coronation Street, I always get excited. And so it was this week when I was asked to take part in the Midnight Mastermind quiz on BBC Radio 2.
I thought it'd be recorded, I mean, they wouldn't expect me to stay up till after midnight and talk live on the wireless, did they? They did! And so, armed with a jug of coffee, in the very early hours of this morning, I was up against DJ Geoff Lloyd who was sitting in for OJ Borg's show.
The idea was that I chatted to Geoff, told him what his specialist subject was going to be - Coronation Street of course - and then he'd play a record. During the record, he'd go online and read up on as much Coronation Street history and information as he could. Then when the record ended after three minutes, I'd ask him three questions about our favourite show.
He did well, getting two out of three of the questions correct and it was a lot of fun chatting to him, even if I am a bit bleary-eyed this morning. Thanks to the BBC for asking me on to the show, I really enjoyed it.
You can listen to it here, my bit starts at 36 minutes in.

That was fun Glenda! Glad to report that I got them all right, including the extra bonus questions!
I confess I wouldn't have known what number Coronation Street that the Duckies lived at.
