SOPHIE HAS A LOT ON HER PLATE Kevin leaves Jack with Sophie for the day, he complains of feeling unwell but Sophie says he should go to school. He gets sent home from school and Seb and Faye find him slumped on the stairs clearly unwell. As they carry him out of the house Ali sees them and urges them to get him to A&E.
STEVE RINGS THE CHANGES FOR TRACY Tracy says she wants an engagement ring and suggests Steve dig out the one she had last time around. Steve enlists Dev’s help in going through all his old engagement rings to find the right one. Meanwhile Michelle takes Tracy up on her request to have her as their wedding planner!
DANIEL AND SINEAD ARE SURPRISED BY A BUSINESS OFFER Tracy overhears Ken offer to pay for Daniel and Sinead’s wedding and assumes he will pay for her and Steve’s too. Meanwhile Flora surprises Sinead and Daniel with a cheque to help them start a business.
ELSEWHERE Simon returns from pleading guilty in court and apologises to all his victims offering to wash up in the cafe for free. Robert and Michelle are sick of having a full house and no privacy. Seb can’t bring himself to tell Emma about his HIV. David is furious with a rock star makeover Bethany gives Max. Ryan thinks he has booked a job in Lancashire but it is Lanarkshire!!

THE WEBSTERS PLAY THE WAITING GAME The doctor at the medical centre confirms Jack has a viral infection and advises a relieved Sophie to take him home. But when Ali calls at number 13 to check on Jack he notices discolouration on his fingers and toes and calls an ambulance immediately. Kevin, Sally, Sophie and Tim are stunned when the doctor confirms Jack has sepsis and the next 24 hours are crucial.
STEVE’S PAST RUNS RINGS AROUND HIM Steve and Dev sort through the array of engagement rings but Steve can’t remember which one was Tracy’s. Finally settling on one he presents it to Tracy but she is thrilled that it isn’t her old one, believing him to have bought her a new one!
SIMON FALLS FOR TYLER’S TRICK Tyler approaches Simon in the cafe and says for a free sausage sandwich he will call it quits. Bemused Simon gives him a sandwich, Tyler leaves and slips the sandwich under the gate of No.1.
ELSEWHERE Ryan gets sacked for confusing Lancashire and Lanarkshire so Michelle gives him a job in the Bistro. Daniel and Sinead discuss setting up a vintage clothes shop. Maria is upset when Audrey is unhappy with the way she has organised the stick cupboard.

Tracy has nerve! Why would a woman in her 40's whose been married before expect her elderly father to pay for her wedding? Ridiculous!
Sophie went from carrying a clipboard at Kevin's garage to carrying a note pad and barking at everyone at Speed Dahl. Now those are qualifications.
Perhaps Steve can open a jewelry stall to sell off all his wedding bands and engagement rings. There is a small fortune locked in there. Come to think of it Gail can reclaim her finances by selling all her rings also.
