Conversation Street Podcast Episode 318
On this week's early edition of the podcast, we take a look at the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast in the UK between the 16th and the 18th July. There may only be four episodes to cover, but they went down very well with us, giving us a load to natter on about in the Street Talk segment.
First order of business: didn't Cath, Richard and Sal play a blinder this week? That mediation meeting between Eva, Johnny and Jenny had us on the edge of our seats, and although we'd heard in advance that Susie was going to be kidnapped following the meeting, it was still brilliant seeing the aftermath unfold on TV. As for the other stories this week, we were pretty disappointed that Sally's hung up her mayor's chain already, and the less said about the Jude and Angie 'drama' the better, but it was great to see Eileen back, and Henry's purchase of the Rovers for Gemma is bound to ruffle some feathers!
After Street Talk, we do a character profile on Johnny Connor. It's been fascinating seeing the viewers' massive change in opinion towards Johnny these past few months, and we found plenty to discuss about his nearly three years on the cobbles. Finally, we finish off the podcast with some feedback, including your responses to last week's listener questions.
