The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Johnny and Eva’s plans to sort things out through mediation come to nothing. He decides to disappear with baby Susie instead!
He heads to a hotel room and a bereft Eva makes a public appeal for her baby’s return. Having watched the appeal on TV, Johnny calls Liz.
As Liz arrives Johnny breaks down, admitting he can’t bear to lose his granddaughter. Liz urges Johnny to give her up but Johnny refuses to listen. He tells Liz he plans to go on the run to Spain with Susie and wants her to come with them. As Johnny kisses Liz will she agree?
