The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Gemma’s gutted when she reads on social media that Henry has got engaged.
Chesney comforts Gemma and she thanks him for being the best friend ever. Cathy spies them together and she tells Chesney that if he doesn’t tell Gemma how he truly feels about her then she will.
Chesney takes Gemma for lunch. He’s about to confess his feelings for her when they’re interrupted by Henry who declares his love for Gemma.
Gemma tells him to get lost but when he announces he’s told his parents to stick their inheritance so that he can be with her – and he’s bought her the Rovers - will Gemma be moved? When Henry’s phone buzzes with a call from his father, he quickly kills the call. Cathy and Chesney warn Gemma that Henry’s not to be trusted.
