How would you like to work in the engine room of the World's longest-running TV drama?

We are looking for an experienced storyliner to join the storyline team on one of the UK’s biggest shows. As one of our team you will be responsible for writing engaging, detailed, storylines and pitching ideas to story conference.

As an experienced Storyliner you will have ideally have had 12 months or more working in a story team. You will have excellent leadership skills and a proven ability to write concise storylines to an agreed brief. You must be able to confidently contribute ideas to team members, work to tight deadlines and be able to cope with last minute rewrites. You will be responsible for re-writing, re-working and editing storylines and occasionally talking through stories with other members of the team.

This is not an entry level position, you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of character, story and structure. You will have proven ability to persuade and influence, resolving differences in professional opinions and have an ability to take several different opinions in a meeting and reach a common ground. You must have an excellent understanding of what makes a brilliant story and how production works on a serial drama and you must have previous extensive experience as a storyliner or a track record of writing on a long running show.
