The Manchester Evening News has pics of the leaving party for Ian Puleston-Davies, who is leaving Corrie in his role as Owen Armstrong.
They also report that the actor will be joining a major new ITV drama Beowulf. Beowulf will be filmed in the North East. Ian will join an all-star cast in the new drama, described as ITV’s “epic re-imagining of one of literature’s greatest and most enduring heroes Beowulf.”
He filmed his final scenes as Corrie’s Owen Armstrong last week after five years on Corrie.

Ian is a brilliant actor and has had some good storylines and scenes, especially with Anna. I will look forward to seeing him in something new. He was fantastic in Funland, recommend if you like dark humour along the lines of League of Gentlemen.
I love Beowulf, great story.
