Catherine Tyldesley gives birth to baby son

Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva Price on Coronation Street, has today given birth to her first child.

The actress and her fiancé Thomas Pitfield have welcomed a baby boy named Alfie James.

 

Many congratulations to them both.

So that's the third of the three Corrie women off on maternity leave to have given birth now.  Catherine joins the other new Corrie mums Jennie McApline (Fiz Stape) and Paula Lane (Kylie Platt).
