OK magazine have pictures of Corrie filming pretend Gavin attending the funeral of the real Gavin Rodwell - oh 'eck.
OK magazine say that Gandy is still reluctant to tell Michael the truth about his real son, due to his heart condition. Now that the real Gavin has died, pretend-Gavin (who is really Andy) goes to his funeral and keeps on pretending to Michael and Gail.

I am a little confused because I thought that Gail finds out the truth soon. Michael has to find out sometime.

This is getting to the point of stupidity and the storyline dragged for too long.
When I saw the headline,I thought it was about Deirdre's funeral not Gavin's and I wonder when is that going to be written in?
Such an obvious plot, I saw this coming from day one. Good character though.

Mystic Meg Frosty predicts that Andy will carry on pretending to be the real Gavin until something occurs like Michael Moper needing a blood transfusion or sommat and the doctors will tell that no way could Andygav be his natural son!
I really like the character of 'Gandy' (as Steph called him), but really, I wish they'd cut to the chase and get it over with.

Great...now we'll have crying, whining Michael going on and on about how he never got to see his 'real' son...waaaah!. Maybe Michelle can offer a sympathetic shoulder to cry on...though she seems to have entirely forgotten about hers....

This story is starting to approach General Hospital silliness. Keeping up the ruse is dragging Steph down to a level she shouldn't be. Her first major story shouldn't be this stupid.
Boring old Michael and Gail and the awful Windass clan get most of the story lines. Isn't it about time that Gail was put out to grass for a year or so? Julie is such a breath of fresh air and I love the Julie/Dev match but now I read she is leaving along with the lovely Maddie.
Couldn't they bump off Gail and Michael instead. Their simpering is just too much to take.
I am so very disillusioned with Coronation St. The storylines are getting more and more ridiculous. This one with Gavin/Andy is beyond ridiculous. The storyline with Callum and David equally ridiculous...at one point Callum shows up and Gail tells David to "call the police" David says "we've already tried that". Well, no they hadn't already tried that...what they did was have Gail go to the police with an empty parcel. Which is also ridiculous because didn't the police show up at Gail's looking for Callum..and David supports Callum's story of where he's been all morning? So when Gail shows up with the empty package...the scene just ended with the empty parcel...nothing further said...
When are they going to deal with the passing of Dierdre? Where is Lloyd? Why do people keep trusting Todd? Why have Jenny Bradley come back? Why is Sarah coming back? They keep dredging up old character's with stupid story lines. Tracy and Tony??? Oh Pluuuussse!!!! Next we'll have Jim McDonald showing up again. Where's Carla? Why is Dev going away for 4 weeks? and leaving his kids???Come on. Is it new writers that's needed? Not sure but something needs to change soon or I will change the channel.
