Say it ain't so! There's a Coronation Street spoiler in today's Daily Star that says Frank Foster will be cleared of raping Carla Connor when the trial takes place in the New Year.
The Star says that Frank will walk free from court after a jury finds him not guilty of raping Carla.
Apparantly, Frank’s lawyers set about ruining Carla's reputation. They claim she has made up her rape story against her Frank because she wanted him out of the factory. She is questioned about her relationship with Peter and it’s suggested that they were lovers rather than just good friends. Carla’s denials are blown out of the water when a private investigator hired by Frank produces pictures of her kissing Peter.
The court is in chaos when Peter’s wife Leanne, screams: “You’re a liar, Carla.”
Well, this is unexpected news, I think. I thought he'd be found guilty and Carla would be able to put this ordeal behind her. But it does leave the door open for someone to bump off Frank and as we blogged here, could Rosie be the one to kill him off?
What do you think?

And thus the spoilers about him being bumped off.
Prediction: Carla gets arrested for his murder, and we have the passing of the "Deirdre Barlow 'I Didn't Do It'" award to the 2012 female in the nick.
If you look at the timing of events, it's clear that Frank would get off due to lack of evidence or Peter and Carla's relationship coming to light. How would he killed off if he was 'inside'? And where in the timescale is Sally's assault: is that after the trial because we haven't heard about the filming of that if it's to be before the trial. Clearly he's back on the prowl again. Maybe Sally's doubts are completely removed by the trial's outcome and her assault makes everyone suspect him again. And this is a much more realistic turn of events even though it may be depressing for those who want justice to be done. Carla will probably sink into a decline and decides to leave the street. So it's not all bad news.
Well you don’t have to be Einstein to work out that Frank is a slippery character and would probably have Carla watched/followed trying to get any dirt on her, so what do her and Peter do? Indulge in a full blown affair. I think the drink has addled both their brains. I think that Frank will in fact attack Sally and then it depends whether Michel Le Veil is found guilty or not as to whether Kevin done him in or not.
Well, I for one am totally shocked with this outcome...NOT.
I agree, if Kevin is still on the Street and Sally is assaulted, he'll batter the bejesus out of him! But maybe Rosie will take the blame? For once, protecting her Dad instead of the other way around?
FGS why couldn't they do justice to the storyline and have him rot in prison?! No, no, no they have to sensationalise it all with a who dunnit murder. Having him get off scott free may be realistic but it's not very encouraging to people watching who are not sure if they should report a rape.
