Recent reports have mentioned that John Stape might meet his end on the roof of Weathy General, but The Mirror suggests a very different fate.
Stape will apparently survive the fall, and will go on the run once again, heading to Europe on a ferry, but from the sounds of it that won't be the end of it. The police will apparently learn of John escaping to Europe and chase him down.
I hope this means John will escape the mandatory killer's fate in Corrie, he's not the same as Richard and Tony, he only wanted to teach.

I don't think he'll die but he *has* to end up in prison or a psych hospital.
Yes, shame though as all he really wanted was to love Fizz and be a teacher.
I hope Stape survives and returns to the street.
For originality's sake, I hope they don't have him come back for a big hostage drama like so many others. Let's see, there's Les Battersby's son, Craig holding Sally and the girls hostage, Richard Hillman (but that was great!), Don Brennan, Dev's psycho fiance Maya, and Tony Gordon to name a few.
Let's hope the writers can come up with something a bit more original.
As we learned from Claire though, Weatherfield Police can't cross the Channel. So long as he gets on a Eurostar he'll be ok.
