I am not happy at all about another of member of the Collinson clique being giving a prime role in the show. All this changing around of actors from soap to soap is very tiresome and she will alwayds be Cindy Beale from EE.
Only if you know her from EE, Frosty. Not everyone watches it.
I'm one of the "let's wait & see" brigade.
I['ve never watched EastEnders in my life, but I still know the character she played - and unfortunately, judging by other things she has been in I just don't think she is a good enough actress to create a completely different character. I am very afraid it will simply feel like "invasion of the EastEnder".
Nah, still don't get it!
So according to some, then, Craig Charles is and always will be Dave Lister from Red Dwarf? No? Thought not.
Give her a chance, she might surprise you!
Never watched Easties, so that's not my complaint about Ms Collins. I'm willing to give a southerner a chance to play a cobble-hardened northerner. If she's a good actress, she'll pull it off.
It was the huge, razamataz, 'watch this facebook space - oops, sorry, have to leave you on tenterhooks a wee bitty longer' stuff which has done her no favours IMHO; really, is anyone worth all that?

Not happy with coronation Street at the moment, until Michelle collins goes, will not watch it at the moment. Does not seem right, don't go down the Eastenders Road.
I am A Canadian fan. Love Cornation Street! The part between Tracy&the kid is just putrid. Comeon give Tracy a real man who will not tolerate her crap. Can barely watch Ryan and Tracy. Michelle is a great actress..get her and steve marries with some kids.
Steve and Tracy, you must be her incarnate. Tracy is totally devious, mental, thoroughly only a Charlie type of girl. That's what she needs another Charlie but not to be killed off, someone who can thrill her and keep her guessin( are you listening writers). Anyone else is too soft and not up to snuff.
