Seeing as secrets on soaps *always* come out, it's not going to surprise anyone that
Social Services finds out that Steve and Becky paid Kylie to get Max. They then take the lad into their care, leaving Becky devastated. The Star says that David decides Max should be with his mother, Kylie and though it doesn't say specifically that he's the man behind the word in the Social's ear, it's a pretty good bet.
David doesn't really think these things through, though, does he? I wonder if Kylie would get into trouble as well as Steve and Becky. If that's the case, it would be make more sense if Gail grassed them hoping it would rid her of her turbulent daughter-in-law.

It just gets worse and worse. I despair of ever hearing of a story where I think it sounds interesting. David doesn't think things through? Why should it be David who contacts Social Services? Why not Norris? The whole street should be wondering why Becky is still looking after Max.
The scriptwriters don't think things through. Either that or they are having a competition to see who can write the silliest stories. How long before "devastated" Becky abducts a kid from its pram/pushchair?
How much more can we watch stories where we are hating characters more and more. Do we want to watch Kylie and David bring up Max and see the little boy suffer rather than be with Becky and be happy? It's all such doom and gloom and for what? NONE OF IT IS INTERESTING
Really, is Gail that low that she would contact social services to rip a little boy's life apart just on the off chance of getting Kylie out of hers?
I don't know how much longer I can watch if it carries on like this. With the John Stape saga already to come and now this.
I've by passed the gaping holes the sloppiness and the bad writing but sometimes you have to draw the line. When is it time to say Stop!
Great more Becky just what everybody wants. Hopefully this is her leaving Story (Fingers Crossed)
Exactly Anonymous: it will be the same old same old scenario: Becky gets news and walks around like a zombie talking very quietly, usually saying its all her fault. Then she will go on a drunken rampage smashing things up and insulting people, probably bash someone, then Spineless Stevie-beybey will come to the rescue, with Roy and Hailey pandering to her and sucking up to her and telling her what a "good person" she is YAWN YAWN. Why on earth would David want the kid with them anyway would cramp the newlyweds style a bit. Poor little Maxhay, he had such a lovely foster home now he is to be uprooted yet again.
Another day, another Becky storyline. And we all saw this one coming miles off.
I think Tracey will be the one to spill the beans on the Max situation.
They are ruining Becky. Where is the chavvy gutsy girl who steve married?

Remember, she called the social on her own daughter once, though I can't recall why...wasn't happy with Sarah and Beth living with Todd, or something.
