Jane Danson interview

There's a good interview in the Mirror with Jane Danson. She speaks about being in "gritty" storylines and tells us about home life with her actor husband, Robert Beck, and two small kids. She had a tough time after the birth of her second baby last year. She'd lost her beloved dad to cancer just before she got pregnant, then her newborn was ill for awhile and it all led to a case of baby blues. She doesn't think any more kids are on the cards but says her husband has been an enormous help. They have been together for 11 years and really "get each other", something that she says on screen characters Leanne and Peter have as well.

Peter and Leanne are going through an emotionally draining storyline this week when Simon goes missing in Blackpool, every parent's nightmare. They'll get through it, and of course, Simon will be ok, and Jane says she hopes Peter and Leanne will go the distance.
