While Molly's affair with Kev can't be condoned, you do have to wonder what Tyrone's doing to keep his wifey sweet. I mean, the lad's letting himself go. Sitting at the tea table in his vest, with stains down his front, egg and bean butty in his hand...
...so if he's that intent on turning into Jack Duckworth, he'll need to follow the style guide to getting Jack's look just right.

Yes, I agree it would seem that Ty is being morphed into the new Jack. But this is one of the things that irritates me about the Molvin storyline. I feel like the character of Tyrone has been changed to fit in with the affair. Whilst he was never the brightest button, he seems more dumbed down, and they show him slobbering around a lot now. Maybe these are Tyrone's true colours, but it seems unlikely since this started just as Molvin began...
One cannot condone molly's behaviour, but really, can anyone blame her.....being married to that moron Ty must be soul destoying
Actually, I find it believable that some men and women, after getting married and settled into comfortable "domestic" life tend to relax more and not try as hard -- i.e. "let themselves go" -- reference to Steve MacDonald... both men and women can gain weight, not pay as much attention to dressing as sharp, etc... so it's entirely believable that Tyrone is morphing into a Jack. After all, Jack was his hero, his only reliable parental figure...
