Now then, at the time of writing this blog post I know nothing - at all - about this upcoming storyline and so I'm free to speculate about it and wonder what it's all about.
In the back pages of this week's Inside Soap magazine they always give a little hint about what's to come in the next week's issue of the magazine for each of the soaps. So we're talking now about two weeks ahead of what we're currently seeing on screen.
And here's what they say about Coronation Street under the headline of Cobbles Chaos!
Peter makes his presence felt at the factory next week and Carla wonders whether he's after pleasure as well as business. But she might not find out, because a shock event that occurs outside sees deadly danger stalk the Street.
Ooh! Shock event? Deadly danger? What could it possibly be?
Each September in Corrie, for the past few years, there's been a 'big week' and I wonder if whatever is going to take place is part of the run-up to this year's big week? Interesting times ahead!

I'm trying to think what it could be, but I've no idea. Deadly danger? There have been so many dramas lately - hope it's nothing serious, like Jack and Vera's stone cladding falling off onto innocent passers by!
Easy. Gail now has money and so is on the hunt for a new husband. Who will be the Black Widow's latest victim and to what gruesome end will this husband come?
I've heard there's going to be a shooting. In this week's What's on TV, there's a preview at the back of the mag - Peter and Simon Barlow get caught up in it. Who's doing the shooting, I don't know. Perhaps it's Tyler ?
Maybe it is Henry and the bad boyz, what a dumb storyline that ia.
The storyline hasn't started yet, so how do you know it's gonna be dumb?
Can I list the characters that should be done in? 😎. Probably don’t have enough room but having watched Ken in the old Corries he does deserve to be stalked by an evil killer after what he did to Deirdre. Then there’s Peter and the one with the miserable face as well

Chesney does a 'Michael Douglas' in 'Falling down' and goes on a deadly ramрage with his kebab knife after being insulted by an unhaррy customer ;)
A cloud of killer bees arrives on the street, and Mary finds a way to get them to leave without hurting them! Probably by singing at them.
If Peter and Simon are involved I hope Simon is killed, nothing against the actor, I just hate the character and would like to see the end of him.
