Coronation Street Episode Review; Weds 15th of August 8.30pm

As synonymous with Manchester as Coronation Street itself, Cotton is what Weatherfield was built on (cheers Mary).
Cotton may have built Manchester but Angie & Jude's cotton anniversary celebrations, are somewhat paper thin, and close to shreds?.
Speed Dall and a decorative cushion, have never been known to save a marriage!.

Over at The Rovers Return, Johnny watches Aidan's video and grieves in front of his Daughter, Carla. Divine intervention from the beyond the grave, or a sudden change of heart, see Carla repent and turn to the devil (aka Peter Barlow) in the business deal.  Underworld is now back with the Connors, but it isn't long before the 'sleeping partner' becomes a kissing partner. They do say the devil is in the detail...

Tims actions also have cause for concern. Lying to the police (again) he is duly arrested and cautioned. A cautionary tale indeed, as Tims unequivocal judgement of Sally, starts to falter.

Eileen delves deeper into Sean's homeless crises, questioning Fiz about his current abode. What she doesn't know though, is that he's now begging, in utter desperation.

In other news; Gemma's bar snacks idea proves unhygienic, Sarah becomes Gary's PA, and Jude lashes out at Adam.

Anyway, that's me done for another week. I hope you've enjoyed my mid-week paean to the drama of Coronation Street.  Let us know your thoughts, in the comments section.

Thanks Ryan! I'm finding that I don't really care about the Sally and Duncan storyline but I am very worried about Sean! It looks like Eileen might get to the bottom of what's going on and hopefully he'll be bbc back in that spare room of hers soon.

I hate that the writers are turning Carla into an idiot.
