Coronation Street on Mastermind (again)

Not for the first time, Coronation Street was a specialist subject on Mastermind this week - specifically, Corrie since 2000.

Ailsa Watson, an Administrator from Renfrewshire, got ten points in the Corrie round with one pass. She went on to win overall, going to show that Corrie fans are highly intelligent people. I wonder if Ailsa visits this Blog?

I got nine out of fourteen Corrie questions right, which was quite disappointing to be honest. I was stumped by the questions on Terry Duckworth; Raquel (though I would have guessed it with a few seconds longer); Jack Duckworth; Dev and Rita’s dog.

Anyway, it was fun taking part. In case you missed it, here is a clip of the Corrie round:

Why not see how many you get right and post your scores on the doors in the comments below? Let’s see how many people can beat Ailsa and find out who the true Mastermind of the Coronation Street Blog is…

It went a bit fast for me, but I got a few that she didn't.

I рaused it after each question for a quick think - cheating I know, but more interesting. Rita's dog of 3 weeks was a cruel question I thought. Why not questions on all the bed hoррing going on would be more interesting - which might sound like 'who hasn't Michelle, Leanne, Sarah or Рeter sleрt with? :) - okay not for Mastermind - but that's the level of Corrie right now :(

I had 8 or 9, got the dog's name wrong, calling it Mr. Chu instead of Woo, didn't know the song, and couldn't get Ian McKellen out in time but I did know it

I don't remember the Mr Woo storyline at all!

Mr Woo was one I did get right, I always pay close attention to the animals, and that storyline was a sad one that I felt was trivialized.
