Job Vacancy: Director of Christmas on the Corrie tour

Christmas is coming to Coronation Street The Tour and help is needed to bring the festive spirit to Weatherfield and create a magical winter wonderland.

You’ll bring an extra special dash of Christmas cheer, sparkle and magic and help us direct the creation of the ‘Christmas on the Cobbles’ experience for visitors.

You will work with our team to create exciting seasonal activities, collate a playlist of the best Christmas songs ever and eat lots of festive food to help us create the menu for our café.

You will also be responsible for directing some of the special set dressing, including picking Christmas trees, positioning excessive amounts of fairy lights and quality and quantity control of snow.

The ideal candidate will have experienced at least one magical Christmas, will be experienced in decorating Christmas trees, have an unquestionable love for Christmas and, most importantly, be bursting with festive inspiration and full of seasonal cheer.
You can apply for the role here.

Closing date is 5pm 17 November 2014 and phone interviews will take place Tuesday 18th November.

Candidates must be available on Saturday 22nd November for the launch of ‘Christmas on the Cobbles.’
