In one of those blink-and-you-miss-it scenes in the Weatherfield Fairytale summer preview video (watch it here), there's a shot of Tony with both Liz and Tracy Barlow.
Am I the only Coronation Street fan wondering if this signals Tony turning his affections from Liz to Tracy? There's already been a spark between Tony and Tracy in their dealings over the stolen goods for Barlow's Buys, and as far as this fan's concerned, there's very little chemistry between Tony and Liz so far.
If Tony and Tracy do get together, the most interesting part will surely be the sparks that will fly between Liz and Tracy. That's a fight that only Liz could ever win, but will she think Tony's worth fighting for, I wonder?

I agree. I certainly think Tony is very interested in Tracy.
I'm curious about this storyline because it all seems to be connected; Rob being the killer, Rob framing Peter, Peter teaming up with Jim in prison, dodgy Tony being with Liz but also getting involved with Tracy, Tracy and Rob's wedding etc.
That's what I thought, too, when i saw the video. Rob going to jail at some point leaves Tracy single and yes, there's definitely a spark between she and Tony.
And Tracy comes with a bonus - Barlow's Buys. Tony would see that as an excellent way to off-load his dodgy stock. Yes, he's attracted to Tracy but I don't think he'd be interested if she had nothing financial to offer.

I find the whole advert entertwined with Emmerdale actors rather bizarre! But I think with the flirting that has gone on with Tracy - how wierd are those long hair extensions - and bad boy Tony is definitely going to move on to the next level. Poor Liz!
What the hell is that creepy segment involving Alya as Rapunzel, and Leanne brushing her hair lovingly all about? If it simply indicates a friendship springing up, then, great; Leanne could do with a decent mate. But it looks so weirdly sexual ...
I couldn't understand the bit with Leanne and Alya: what storyline is that supposed to refer to?

If Tracy and Tony do hook up please ensure she has her tube tied and he has a vasectomy first. One devil-child (David) is more than enough.
La La Land,I wouldn't feel sorry for 'poor Liz'.She had numerous affairs while married to Jim and kept quiet about Peter and Tina and had Carla looking like a fool being served by her husband's mistress.Perhaps Liz will finally get a dose of her own medicine?
