After Sophie's accident which we saw on Corrie last night, physio Jenna helps Sophie walk again. The miracle healing hands of Jenna lead the two girls to develop feelings for each other. But there's a 10 year age gap between them, Jenna risks her job in getting involved with a patient and on top of all that, she hasn't yet actually told her mum Mandy that she's gay.
In a further twist in the tale, The Star reveals that Sophie's dad Kevin Webster will develop a crush on Jenna.

So Kevin obviously hasn't learned his lesson about women young enough to be his daughter.
All sounds rather sordid and revolting.
I think it will be great. I figured as much but it will be interesting to see how this unfolds, with Sophie being so young and Jenna yet to come out to her Mum.
The whole thing sounds gross. She's too old for Sophie and far too young for Kevin. What are they thinking???
Waiting for Jeeeeeeeeennnnnaaa, better order our ear plugs now
A health professional jeopardising her job/career for screechy Sophie. A father and daughter going after the same woman who happens to be a closeted lesbian. Please. I really hope the new Producer ends these ridiculous stories.
Why would Kevin develop a crush on Jenna?
I thought the only reason he was still on the Street was to prolong the ridiculous will they/won't they storyline between Kevin and Sally otherwise there is no reason to keep him on the Street.
As far as I am concerned even that weak storyline is not enough to keep him and his son on the Street.
Yup, another good reason not to re-tune in to this once great show. Disgusting, sordid and unworthy of the shows creators.
What have they got against health professionals? Dr Matt larking around with local resident Maria, and doing messy examinations in a greasy spoon; Marcus divulging confidential information about a patient to Tommy; and didn't Marcus and Sean meet at Maria's appointment?
Hasn't anyone on Corrie noticed that Brooke Vincent can't act?
Promises to be spectacularly embarrassing.
Kevin's surplus to requirements. If he left the Street, Sally's character stands a chance of developing.
So if perchance, Kevin married Jenna, Lloyd would become his father-in-law!!!
I think Jenna should have been brought on the show as a love interest for Lloyd, not his daughter. Since Mandy doesn't seem to have a job how will Lloyd be able to keep her in head bands on his income? As for Jenna becoming involved with Sophie - really? A smart professional woman interested in a teenage whiney, can't keep a job, lay-about, with no discernible speech? - that really is stretching reality.
I really can't understand why they cast someone so old to play Lloyd's daughter in the first place. Nothing against the actress but if they'd cast an 18/19 year old she would have made a far more realistic love interest for Sophie and she would have had a far more interesting relationship dynamic with Lloyd. Decent enough actress but shoddy and illigical writing/casting.
So much for trying to set Kevin and Sally back up
Health Professionals, Social Workers, Police, Teachers.... All portrayed as idiots, corrupt or unprofessional. Someone on the show doesn't like the public Sector.
I don't think 10 years is an unbelievable age difference for Jenna & Sophie. I notice Sophie has been looking and acting more mature lately. Kevin crushing on Jenna sounds awful though. It's like Molvin never happened.
This Jenna gal must be some kinda something! Attracting the young and old, male and female... she must have some special rehabilitative skills! Of course Kevin will fall for Sophie's girlfriend, he's desperate for attention!
Well it make a change from the usual mother/daughter triangle to have a father/daughter triangle - ug - is there no depths that Coronation St will not stoop to to be sensationalist. I too think Jenna is totally miscast - she looks almost the same age as her mother and come on would she really be stupid enough to jeopardse the career that she has probably worked really hard to get for the rather unattractive and not very intelligent Sophie Webster? I think not.
