So as we suspected, Steve's 'dumping' of Michelle is all a ruse to get rid of Tracy. But really, what was he thinking? How unnecessarily cruel he is being.Could he not have had a quick word with Michelle as to phase one of his cunning plan and told her what he was doing? To liken their relationship to a dead frog simply takes the biscuit. Come on Steve!
Meanwhile the demonic Tracey is lapping it all up. We know that she must get her comeuppance, but it does make for painful viewing. At least Ryan had the decency to look concerned over his mother's distress. What though is Rob doing? Is he hoping to maximise his chances of seducing with Michelle by his comforter role or is he just being a decent friend?
It was indeed a long shot on Lewis's part but viewers might have thought briefly that Nick would reinstate Lewis. He was an asset after all. Still, the bistro door closing opens up the Rovers'door. Good line from David tonight as he says 'I gave you a ten thousand pound note - oh no, that was my gran.'Is Lewis actually reformed? Hard to read. Still, whatever his plan is, within a very short time, Lewis is installed in the back room, with Gloria confiding in him that she is dying.
Mary the megalomaniac cooks French tonight and we can't criticise her for lack of ambition even though Anna walks out on her. 'Mary Taylor is not a quitter', Mary herself tells us. And what's more Mary is au fait, to use a French phrase, with the concept of pop-up, in particular the pop-up restaurant. So her 'trusty lieutenant' recruited, Norris, he is told to call her chef and to shout loudly as she might not be able to hear him over the flames. 'Mary has morphed into Gordon Ramsay, only ruder,' moans Norris.Still it seems French night is a success even though Kylie might be about to inform the council about the bring your own wine policy. After all takings are down at the bistro and Kylie needs to keep her job. Anyone else think childcare for Max might be a little neglected? Who is looking after him?
The double episode ended with the words, 'You're dumped' this time uttered by Michelle.Oh Steve! Did you really think this plan was a good idea?

I can't where else Tracy character can go from here. Scratch that, perhaps the bottom of the canal.
Some funny moments with Norris as garcon in Roys Rolls but the ridiculous Steve debacle was embarrasing. Steve seems to be turning into the face pulling village idiot of Weatherfield and is irritating rather than comedic.

- Exactly! God awful storylining execution. And they expect to win soap awards with trashy put-together-in-a-hurry scripting like that?!?
It's almost as if a key member of the production team knows their contract is almost up and has let their attention wander to focus on other things. If you're paid to do a job - DO THE JOB, PROPERLY!
Every time I relent, and come back to watching Corrie - every time!!!
Really wish Mary would go. She isnt funny anymore. I said it a year ago, she isnt funny, everybody said here she is "coro gold". Hope you are enjoying a different themed dinner every single episode.
Mary hasn't been funny since the beginning of her tenure. She's a nutcase and this whole theme night stuff is absolutely ridiculous. I couldn't believe Monday's episode it was almost cringeworthy between Steve and the cafe. I feel like it's turned into the Twilight Zone. Who is writing this drivel???
We here in the States are somewhat behind your episodes so reading these episode reviews is like getting 'spoiler' information - Love that!!!
Have to comment that the Tracey/Ryan Steve/Michelle storyline is sooo tremendously annoying to my psyche that I am seriously considering not watching anymore! Aaaarrrggghhh!!!
