Coronation Street con-man joins Downton Abbey

Nigel Havers, who played cad Lewis Archer in Coronation Street, is joining the cast of Downton Abbey, says today's Mirror. 

Nigel will play the role of aristocrat Lord Hepworth when Downtown Abbey returns this Christmas

Ooh I say.. can't wait for the second series of Downton Abbey (proved me that Rob James-Collier can actually act rather than just look in need of prune juice). Nigel Havers will be great!

An ideal bloke for standing in the doorway of Harvey Nichols with his top hat and tails, trying to get people in! . . . a little over the top on Corrie I thought though! I'd rather watch Norris anytime!
