There's a Coronation Street spoiler in today's Daily Star that says Roy and Hayley leave the cafe in Sylvia's hands when they go on holiday again, and she starts to run the place with an iron rod.
The paper says: "In hilarious episodes next month viewers will see Sylvia (Stephanie Cole, 69) alienate regulars by cutting back on portions of food and charging for salt, ketchup and milk in cuppas. She even introduces a fee for use of the toilets. Soap fans will see dopey Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment, 30) emerge from the loo to tell Sylvia: “Can I have my money back'".
Yay for more Sylvia, that's all this fan can say!

It doesnt ring true that Roy and Hailey would go off, with Becky and Hope in tow I presume, and leave a woman of nearly 70 to run their business single handed. However, this could be comical.
Yay more Sylvia!!! They already did leave her to run it, with Anna, recently so why not?
Didn't Roy and Hayley only just go on holiday. How extravagant of them to take two holidays so close together! Roy must be mellowing...*G*
Wasnt Hayley supposed to be coming out of it for a bit? I seem to remember something but perhaps it was another of those blue halibuts.
Sylvia and Anna running the cafe should be good comic relief....maybe throw Ken into the mix as part-time help ....Sylvia will cut him down a peg or two.
I would assume by this that Fiz is going to keep the baby with her in prison instead of giving her to the Croppers.
Charging for condiments and using the loo, does Sylvia think she's on the continent? :) The Sylvia, Anna and Ken combination would make for excellent comic relief. Wasn't there a rumour that Bev/Liz's daughter hired to play a character in the Mom 'n Tot prison and Fiz was going to help bust some drug dealers? That would explain where Hope will end up and with whom.
Yes Rebecca Callard has already started filming.
