I think Steve is great to watch, but his acting was always spoilt for me when Becky was around him. Now when he was in Street Cars, it was better. Even when he is with other's, he is a good character to watch but his storylines were ignored by me everytime he was Becky, as I always just press the MUTE on my remote until she is out of the way. I think Steve will improve, once she actually leaves.

Agree with the above.

I'm probably in the minority, though, in hoping he and Tracy will get together, settle down and run the pub for the next 20 years.

Tracy could still be an excellent character if the gods can just calm her down a bit, and the pair of them together could be the next generation's Kev/Sal or Ken/Deirdre. (Ditto Peter/Leanne, if they weren't so intent on breaking them up every five minutes).

Such a shame they went down the murderess route with Tracy, having to outdo her 'evilness' year upon year. I'm glad they don't seem to be making the same mistakes with David, who is settling down nicely now, without losing any of his spirit.

This gurn makes me laugh! Looks like he's packing a whole bag of peanuts in his chops!

By removing Becky, I think his character will improve, and go back to the way it was. I like to see him with Dev and the others. Its a pity Ashley is not around anymore, as it was more funnier then. The same with graeme...it was spoilt with Xin and that story was just too long and pathetic, and I thought something better could have been used in place. When some storylines go on and on for weeks or months, it is a bad thing to me.
