There's another Coronation Street music CD and DVD that's on sale in the shops. In addition to Coronation Street The Album, this one's called Coronation Street Magical Memories. Have a sneak preview of it in the video below. The voiceover sounds like Julie Goodyear, best known as Corrie barmaid Bet Lynch.

Presumably this is a music compilation album of records that happened to be hits over the past 50 years. (Bet it doesn't have Chris Sandford's 'Not too little, not too much' on it !).
What are the classic episodes on the DVD ?
ITV really are milking the anniversary for all its worth, aren't they? I could make a CD of forty-odd tracks that have been hits over the past 50 years!
It's worth it for the bonus DVD as the two episodes on it have never been released commercially before.
What are the episodes?
Yes, what are they? Link anywhere?
I'd be happier if they did do a compilation of stuff like Chris Sandford, Pat Phoenix's record, etc. But no one wants to buy that, do they?
#938 22/12/69 (Christmas concert in the Rovers Select) and #1559 24/12/75 (The residents perform Cinderella in the Community Centre). Good episodes!
