Not me for starters. I know this is hardly news, but for me Christmas isn't Christmas unless I find myself half-watching Dr Zhivago while cooking, nodding off or doing me nails. Only scenes I pay attention to are the ice palace and the daffodils.
However this year while glancing at the credits I saw "Mark Eden - engineer at dam".
This was about twenty five years prior to his being trammed on Corrie as nasty piece of work Alan Bradley. I must say I didn't notice him engineering at the dam but I'll look out for him next year!

He also appears in The L Shaped Room, which also features Pat Phoenix
Funny where you can spot him. As a young drama student I attended a weeday matinee of The Winslow Boy in one of the Shaftsbury Avenue theatres. I was seated at the front of an otherwise empty circle, next to a couple. The man next to me struck me as familiar, but as I was puzzling it out, the lady on his other side leaned forward and revealed herself to be Sue Nicholls. I could hardly concentrate on Ronny Winslow's predicament for the first half, just waiting for the interval when I could phone my mum to tell her I was sat next to Audrey & Alan! Ah, innocent days! ;)

Many years ago l travelled alone by train from London to Manchester. I got into conversation with 2 other travellers, praising the then recent Coronation Street storyline of the death of Alan Bradley. One of my fellow passengers inclined her head towards afellow passenger sitting on the other side of the aisle - was none other than Mark Eden himself.
