Alan Halsall has revealed things are going to get very sad for Tyrone Dobbs on Coronation Street this Christmas.
Asked about what's ahead for Tyrone, Alan teased: "There are developments in the Tyrone, Molly, Kevin situation. We're filming a lot of that now. We've just shot Christmas Day and New Year. There are things that might happen at Christmas and might not - lots of ifs, buts and maybes. It should be a nice Christmas. Then after Christmas the situation gets a lot worse for Tyrone. I can't say too much but going to be very sad for him."
Earlier this year, it emerged that Kevin (Michael Le Vell) will be torn when Sally (Sally Whittaker) develops breast cancer. According to rumours, Molly (Vicky Binns) will also fall pregnant, but will not know who the father is. Asked if he knows where the plot's going, Alan said: "I did know what was happening but apparently there's been a change in the storyline. They like to keep you on your toes and the public on their toes. So at the moment I don't actually know how it finishes. I know where we go to up to January. But after that, who knows?"

I wonder how many weeks in advance Corrie episodes are now taped if Alan says they've already shot the New Year's day episode?
I know that when it was on 3 times a week episodes were only recorded a mere 3 weeks before they went to air.
However, now that it's on 5 times a week (and even 6 episodes on some occasions) presumably this must have been extended.
Poor Tyrone, but if Molvin dominates Christmas and new year then I will be very sad.
I think Corrie film about 6-8 weeks in advance.
Yes, yes, I'm with Anonymous right before me -- as much as I like the Tyrone character - this Molvin storyline has taxed my patience. It sounds like there's more stretching of this weak storyline--'til at least Christmas!!!!
So things get from bad to worse...oh why can't things just progress with the inevitable...divorces all around...then Tyrone takes up with the available Natasha ....unlike Maria, she won't insist on hair waxing the poor lad...
Things have gone from bad to worse in our house. We both now pick up cushions to hide behind whenever Molvin appear on screen. And I hate cushions!
Why Kevin having the afair with Molly why not leave Tyron & Molly alone they are cute together.
corrie st has changed and not for the better
Canada
Have you noticed someone always gets bumped off around Christmas?
That's going to be a killer storyline! Poor Tyrone!
