This week's Inside Soap contains the following little teaser for the New Year on Coronation Street:
"Sally's deeply traumatised by recent events and seeks comfort in the arms of another. You'll be shocked to find out who..."
Watching the ITV2 programme Coronation Street Uncovered last night, I think Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, may have given the game away. I've always liked to think, despite evidence to the contrary, that Sally had better taste than that but maybe she just wants to mother him. Lucky beggar.

It's not Eddie Windass is it :)
Well that settles it. She's gonna find out Kevin's the baby daddy and it's going to be mutual comforting or something. But ew. She's almost old enough to be his mother! Still, i bet she won't back down from an attack from Jackie Dobbs!!
A Jackie Dobbs attack is the ONLY thing that would make this (even worse than Molvin) bearable! having said that - part of me's quite looking forward to seeing Tyrone in a different kind of storyline.
This is gonna happen but can we make the decision now on if their 'couple name' is going to be 'Salty'
Oh yes! I'd go with that - seems very apt!
BWAhahahaha!!! *wipes monitor* "Salty" .... Brilliant!
Tyrone? Oh please no. The poor guy has had bad enough luck already, no? I'm in Canada, so no idea who hasn't lived to see the day after the tram crash ... will have to wait until September of 2011 for that, I guess ... but Bill Webster would be a surprise love interest for Sally, no?
Excellent comment anonymous. Cos a fling between Sally and Bill Webster would be similar to one between her and Tyrone in terms of yuckiness and scraping the bottom of a very deep barrel.
How about Sally & Nick Tilsey?
I really don't think Leanne will ultimately want to be with Nick so he'll need someone new.
& Sally seems to have a penchant for men who run factories, the conflict with Gail would be fun, and this might actually get under Kevin's skin whereas he'd probably willing let Tyrone screw his wife out of guilt alone.
If this is true its rather sordid to say the least why not just drop your keys in an ashtray.
Sally and Nick, would that be "Sick" as the couple nickname? ;)
Sally & Tyrone??? Oh pleeeese
Sally has more taste than that!
Sally & Bill??? again ...give me a break!
Sally & Nick??? Nick has more taste!! Guy that looks like that doesn't need to go after scraps.
Off topic: how are the readers getting rid of Eddie W.?
sorry meant to say how are the WRITERS! getting rid of Eddie?
bahahaha "Sick" that's even better than "Salty".
I want to see that coupling just for that perfectly mocking name.
(and Nick looks old enough to get with Sally)
Oh gooodness please do not let it be Tyrone. The thought of those two makes me wanna heave more than Molly and Kevin!
