Jodie continues to find ways of gaslighting Shona by playing recordings of the baby crying when she is half asleep. David has the baby safe and quiet in the garden. Anyway David and Shona are off to see Gaddas later. Before they go Shona cannot find her phone (no doubt hidden by Jodie) and she panics about it. When they get back Doug is there as well as Jodie. The doctor has prescribed rest to deal with the diagnosis of postpartum fatigue. Jodie is convinced the doctor has got it wrong and meant to say postpartum psychosis. Jodie tells Shona that she and David can ensure all is well. Jodie stirs the pot asking what Doug heard when he was bipolar - he cannot remember. Shona did not tell Gaddas about the family history and Jodie presses the point that she should have done. Later when Shona is asleep Jodie makes various approaches to David and gets completely knocked back.
Debbie is due to meet Ronnie later for their tea but forgets about it and goes shopping instead. Her phone was on silent so she misses his messages. Carl is not managing to get any of the jobs for which he applies. Debbie concocts a story for Ronnie about being needed at the hotel to cover her absence. She says it has been a right pavlova.
Summer is making progress with her new beau. Asha reports that Siena has been consigned to the bin or the sea (or both). So is resolutely single and Amy admits to Ronnie that she is jealous of Summer having a beau.
Kit thinks about handing out the letters and then changes his mind. It seems Bernie's test is tomorrow. In reality Kit knows the outcome already.
I may have missed it but Summer's new man is Marco Rhodes (William Teasdale). No doubt there will be a back story along soon to explain the tag and much else. I will be here next week but after that there is likely to be a four week gap due to a long holiday. Precise dates will depend on events. I am working on the screen grabs - I hope it is better this week.
