The Mirror today has the first picture of Jessie Wallace as Pat Phoenix, for the Coronation Street drama to be shown later this year on BBC4. Jessie says: “I’m proud and excited to be playing the role of such an iconic actress as Pat. And I am loving my part in telling the story of Coronation Street.”Filming for the show, initially called Corrie’s original title Florizel Street, began this week in Manchester. Find out more here.

I'm sure she'll have the look but she's gonna need a Wonderbra to give the girls a bit more oomph!
Jess's makeup and hair look pretty good; would be funny if they overlooked the rest of the body!
Elsie was a full-figured gal, well known and appreciated as such and a 'Wonder Bra' would definitely be needed to totally complete her special look!
