My favourite things about Coronation Street

Asha’s confidence

These last few months Asha Alahan has had a tough time with her skin lightening issues and her issues with Corey and Kelly, but eventually she has built up the confidence to enjoy her new school and enjoy time with Nina, Amy and Summer. Tanisha Gorey is an amazing actress and she has so many skills that are very appreciated

Kelly’s mum Laura

Gary had hired a private investigator  to track down Laura and pressured (more like threaten) her to take Kelly back under her wing and that way rick will still pay school fees (which he isn’t, Gary is).
Kelly wasn’t impressed to see her and didn’t want to leave Summer, Billy or Paul but Laura took her back much to Gary’s excitement, not know they only live around the corner

Paul and Billy

On the note of Paul and Billy, their relationship is unbelievably cute. They have actually gone through a lot together considering the fact they are both uncles to four adorable children. And hopefully these two get engaged and married in the next few years, now that would be cute. The start of their relationship was tense and was a huge rollercoaster until they softened towards each other and formed a relationship, these two have brought the best out of each other, Billy has softened and Paul has opened up more.

Sally vs Geoff

And last but not least, Sally’s realisation that Geoff isn’t as innocent as he makes out. Sally is convinced Geoff’s story doesn’t add up and wants him to move out. Viewers know that Eileen, Cathy and Sally all believe Yasmeen, but Tim is adamant to his dad's innocence and is oblivious to what is actually happening... will he discover the truth or will he be on Geoff’s side?

That’s everything for this blog, enjoy!!

I agree apart from Billy and Paul, to me they have no chemistry or any common interests or ideals that bind them together.

Billy and Paul have no chemistry at all. Paul acts like a moody 14 year old half the time and I fail to believe that Billy would settle with someone so dumb and charmless after being with Todd. There's no spark between them and no buzz surrounding them Corrie should split them up already.

Asha is fab. Tanisha is indeed a great actress. I wish Sunita was still around so they could be a lovely family together.

Thanks for your post Nicole :)

Not only is Tanisha Gorey exceptionally talented (wish it hadn’t taken them 10 years to give her something to do besides being Amy’s plus one), she is gorgeous! Love those yellow overalls! Love the new girl group even more. There is a lot of future for four good friends, and that means meaty stories. Find a way to keep them, Corrie!

Billy and Paul, not so much. Like Sarah and Adam, or Maria and Gary, there is zero spark between them other than when they are Quad Uncles. And unlike those other couples, they have a huge age and life experience gap. Other than being gay, I cannot fathom what they see in each other. Would prefer them apart, and Billy back with Sean (a fun guy his own age) or Todd with a new face (younger but an educated professional).

I could imagine Sally and Gail sitting down to sort the Geoff puzzle over wine, Gail being her bestie and an expert on psycho husbands. Except they’re on different shooting schedules. 😖
