Coronation Street Episode Review; Weds 17th April 7.30pm

Welcome to this week;s edition of the Coronation Street Blog review for Wednesday part one, wrapped up in handy blog review.

Gary's still playing 'Mr Ben' with his suit and tie/building work wear swap shenanigans and Sarah is slowly starting to notice. As Gary struggles to hide his duplicity from Bethany, Gail arrives back from holiday, so now he's no chance at all of continuing his debt dodging escapades.

Ready to go on holiday then, Gemma's packed everything but the kitchen sink and is filled with optimism, whilst Chesney admits to Emma that this is a make or break, break. The holiday doesn't start well; the caravan smells a bit iffy... and the car won't start. Kevin thinks it's the starter motor until Abi takes a look and realises he's misdiagnosed the fault. Can Abi get her job back at Webster's Autos?

Nick's toying with Toyah continues as he preens Leanne for any information on Imran's recent arrest over the factory report saga. Toyah blatantly admits to Nick that she thinks he could have sabotaged the factory roof for an insurance pay-out.

Speaking of the roof collapse, Michelle confides in Robert that Carla has had a breakdown and subsequently vanished. Feigning concern, Michelle riles at Robert and blames him for Carla's disappearance.

At Rick's office, Gary is introduced to the debt collection side of the business, that obviously includes mild menace and violence. Unbeknown to Gary, a suspicious Sarah has followed him to the office.  Seeing Gary with the female debt collector, Sarah thinks he's having an affair and Gail agrees, telling her that she should never have taken him back in the first place (told ya!).

Meanwhile, on a debt collection round, the first house they visit is Vicky's (Tyler's mum).
A reluctant Gary joins in the search for items of value, whilst his butch female colleague threatens Vicky.

Arriving at the campsite, Gemma and Chesney realise that the iffy smelling caravan is a former cannabis farm; they've also got a leaky roof, no electricity, and as the rain pours, the board games have pieces missing. Is this an omen for Gemma and Chez's relationship?.

Back at Vicky's house, Gary stops her from getting a beating whilst refraining his colleague, so Vicky can do a runner. I have a feeling he may regret such chivalrous behaviour. Rick is not
going to be pleased!!.

I'll be back soon with a review of the 8.30pm episode. See you in a bit.

Sarah said the female debt collector was 'not his type'. What she meant was 'she's fat'.
