Fans of Ali Neeson on Coronation Street will be pleased to hear that the actor who plays him, James Burrows, has signed an extension of his contract. Or at least, that is, according to The Sun.
The Sun says that the contract extension will see James remain on the cobbles up until at least Christmas ensuring he will stay on the show with on screen mum Michelle Connor, played by Kym Marsh, before she leaves later this year.
Mr Curry Sauce tells The Sun: "James Burrows aka Dr. Ali is going to be sticking around for a while yet. Corrie bosses reckon James is too much of a good talent to lose. His character is going to be part of some really juicy plots coming up too. We're sure viewers will be pleased to hear the news as he has become quite the fan favourite since his arrival in early 2018."

Very glad to hear this. However, I would be a happy camper if Ryan were to leave with his mother.
Excellent news. James is a great actor and Ali is a promising character as a doctor.
I enjoy his scenes with Ryan too. Great on screen partnership with fantastic chemistry between the two.
