Oh Lord, Sean with false hope - save us all! Now, we'll have to endure Sean's Street buddies talking trash about and to Marcus because poor Sean will be all heartbroken... AGAIN! Oh, bother.

Presumably The Rovers was the only entrant in this stupid.competition. How else could it possibly win it?

Mandy as bar maid?! Where are the humorous barmaids from the past? Does the rovers want to lose all its customers? Punters already have to put up with a part time landlady, a rude landladies mother and a miserable teenager!- Micky

I like Mandy as a barmaid. I think it will give them a chance to develop her character a lot more.

This is probably stereotyping but I hoped Mandy would be a kind of Rustie Lee, the singer/chef/actress. I used to love her 'Don't Mess With My Toot Toot'. Perhaps if she lightens up, Mandy could still be fun.

Mandy's a bit grumpy to be a barmaid. I wouldn't dare ask her for a drink!

I HOPE that Gloria is leaving!! Gawd, what a horrible woman.

Yes, good riddance to Gloria. I can believe Mandy as a cook and/or possibly someone with a sympathetic ear, once she gets over the whole hidden-daughter business. I would like to think that Mandy and Lloyd have a good temperament in common but honestly, that's not the type of woman we've typically seen him with is it?
