Writer: Peter Whalley
Director: Tony Prescott

Kylie is sure that Becky has kidnapped Max. David insists they take one more look in the house first as he might be hiding but he is nowhere to be seen. Gail, who is back from the shops, says she'll stay at the house in case he comes back as Kylie storms around to Becky's flat with David in hot pursuit. She tells David to break down the door but he tries to reason with her explaining that if Max is inside then at least he's safe but Kylie is adament. Seeing Sally, David hurries off towards her asking if she's seen Becky. Sally sees Becky leaving the cafe and points it out to David and Kylie rushes over demanding her son back. Becky however is shocked to learn that Max is missing and it's clear straight away that she has played no part in the youngsters disappearance. She recommends David check the Kabin, remembering Max's disappearance in December when Rita found him and she and Kylie would check down the ginnel. Unbeknown to the three, Max has wandered into the Rovers back room and leisurely puts the TV on and starts watching cartoons.

Meanwhile, during the heist of the century, the security guard is checking the wine warehouse with Nick and Eva hiding upstairs. The guard's dog is restless and picked up their scent clearly but his barks are ignored by the guard, who is too busy singing to himself. After a scout around downstairs he soon vacates the premises. Despite the sexual tension between the two of them Nick and Eva get the rest of the wine quickly loaded into the van and locking up behind them, they make a hasty exit.

Sophie is looking forward to going to the cinema with Amber and tells Sally she won't be home for tea. However Amber soon receives a vistor, a male friend from university called Arj. Amber soon abandons Sophie in the shop to take Arj upstairs to the flat.

Dev and Owen are in the Rovers discussing pets with Stella. Owen talks of his old tank of tropical fish before Becky rushes in asking if anyone has seen Max. No-one has so she rushes back out as Dev continues to interrogate Owen on his love of fish. With the search proving negative Becky phones the police but Tina goes into the back room of the Rovers for change and finds Max sitting on the sofa watching his cartoons and asks Tina where Becky is. Tina tells him everyone is looking for him and she'll take him to find his mummy. As Becky is describing Max on the phone to the police there is a knock on the door and Tina comes in bring Max with her. Kylie embraces her son with David close by as Becky tells the police that he's been found and hangs up and she sadly watches as her sister hugs Max. David later tells Gail that Max had obviously gone to find Becky but they'll make it work.

Dev has arrive back at the shop to find Sophie but no Amber. Angry at being blownm Sophie spitefully tells Dev that Amber is upstairs with a friend emphasising that it was a male and obviously more than a friend. Dev goes to see Amber and at the door drops hints about hearing noises upstairs and eventually shouts up and he is greeted by a half naked Arj and Amber slams the door in his face.

Anna has invited Katie and Chesney around for tea. Owen informs them that the shed floor has gone rotten and it needs knocking down. Faye doesn't want the shed knocking down but Owen tells her that he'll replace it with something better but Faye is adament that she wants her shed remaining. With his conversation with Dev still fresh in mind Owen suggests a fish pond and just as Faye is warming to idea Owen accidentally reveals about his tank of tropical fish. Faye furiously accuses him of putting what he wants in the garden and not what she wants.

Kylie meanwhile has left David watching Max in the bath and goes to speak to Becky. She apologises for accusing him of taking him but asks her sister to keep her distance because it's obvious Max is confused she doesn't want himm running off again. A devastated Becky asks if she should live in Timbuktoo but Kylie says it's best for Max and Becky, fighting against her best wishes agrees but it's clear she's devastated.

Nick and Eva close the Bistro after their exciting day. Gail tells them with a smirk that if they fancy themselves as Bonnie and Clyde then they should remember how they ended up and goes home leaving them alone. Finally the sexual tension bubbles over and the two passionately snog.
With Max now in bed, Kylie tells David about how upset she was that Max went looking for Becky as Gail walks in wittering about Nick. Kylie questions about whether Max really wants to be with them . David tells him that the longer Max is with them he'll come to accept number 8 as his home but Kylie isn't too sure and the bond between Becky and Max is too strong and will never fade.
