The Daily Star reports today of a mutiny on Coronation Street, despite the fact that their article quotes an ITV spokesperson who denies any discussion of strike action. Anyway, in the spirit of tabloidese, here we go with the article.
The Star says that Corrie backstage production crew are secretly plotting a walk-out over claims they are being “used and abused”. The crew are fuming over what they say are unsociable hours.

A show insider said: “It got really heated because everyone working backstage is at the end of their tether. We’ve been working our arses off and it’s just getting worse. There is so much demand on us, it’s like we’re just being used and abused. The cast are doing long days too but we don’t get paid anywhere near what they do.”
After the meeting, production controller Gail Kennett sent a memo to staff saying they could apply for flexible working or a strict 40-hour week.
An ITV spokeswoman said: “We routinely hold meetings with the Corrie crew. There has been no discussion of strike action.”

Cheap kids these days who are not used to working the long hours us old 'uns gladly put in.
What a load of horsepoo, "Anonymous".
Some of them work VERY long hours.
You sound like a pathetic old Yorkshireman, boasting how they had it "so hard"...
Yawn.
The viewers should go on strike over the awful storylines.
